Then later when you wash your skin with cold water, the skin becomes cool. This causes the pores to contract which closes them so that no impurities can enter the pores for a small period of time.

If you put medicine on your skin before steaming, then the medicine can sink into the pores, thus giving it a good cleaning effect. You should make sure you remove the dirt and oil from your skin by washing it before the steaming process. Steam in itself cannot entirely remove acne. When this steaming is combined with medication for acne, your skin can become entirely clean. You should overdo the entire steaming process as this will cause your skin to remain dry. Dry skin can lead to more oil on the face which will in turn clog up the pores of your skin. These steam facials should not be done for only two to three days a week as steam is an extremely powerful cleaner of acne. Sticking to this routine will help you lead an acne free life.
